Ipswich Opportunity Group

Overview of our organisation and the services we offer

We run group specifically for families who have pre - school aged children with additional needs. We provide appropriate play activities for the children such as a climbing frame, toys and equipment for all ages, a play room, a quiet room, a slide and swings. We offer support to the parents/carers who stay for sessions whilst the children play in the large playroom.

Parents/carers are also welcome to have some time to themselves in the quiet room while staff and volunteers look after their children. As well as staff supporting parents, parents are also very supportive of each other. Individual requirements are always considered during snack time. Our staff have a wide range of experience of special needs. We attend training as available and gain knowledge from families and therapists. Our location is wheelchair accessible.

Please contact us if you require any more information or would like to join our safe and supporting environment.
