Age: Suitable for child or young person aged 10 to 15.

Sailing with the Woolverstone Project- an established and experienced sailing for the disabled charity.
Small sailing boat / small speed boat
Experienced and qualified sailing staff take us on the River Orwell in a small sailing boat in the morning, then in a small speed boat in the afternoon.
Safety buonancy aids worn at all times.
Boats specifically for disabled persons.

How the activity is supported:
Indigo-opportunities staff/ Experienced and qualified sailing staff
Ratio of staff to children:
Max group size 8- 2 Indigo-opportunity staff, 2 Sailing staff
Staff are trained to assist in the following:
- Managing a seizure
- Administering medication
- Mobility assistance
- Managing challenging behaviour
- Disability awareness
- Sensory training
- First Aid
Support statement:
Supervision is provided. If you need dedicated 1-1 support please bring a carer.
