Activities Unlimited Short Break Award 2020-21
Published: 19th February 2020
Information for short break offer holders about the end of this financial year 2019/20 and the beginning of the next financial year 2020/21.
If your circumstances remain the same, you do not need to update your details, and your short break award will remain the same in the next financial year.
If your circumstances have changed, you must update your online enrolment form in case these changes affect your offer.
What do you need to do now?
For prepaid cards:
There is nothing you need to do now. Any council funds left in your prepaid card account on 31st March 2020 will be redeemed by us. This means we will access your account and take the money back.
Please remember to keep all of your receipts as we may still have to ask for them in the new financial year.
Please keep hold of your prepaid cards as they are valid for 3 years.
For direct payment paid into bank accounts:
You will need to make sure you have sent in receipts to show you have spent 100% of your offer for this financial year. You have until the 30th April 2020 to send these to us along with your Spending Record.
What happens next?
Members who have a prepaid card and recipients of direct payments who have evidenced their 100% spend will receive a new offer pack in the next few weeks. This will include a letter to confirm the amount of your award, a payment schedule, our new spend guide leaflet and a direct payment agreement form.
You must complete, sign and return the agreement form so that we can pay your award for next year.
When we receive your form, we will process and issue your payment. Please note, your payment will begin from the date we receive your agreement form and will reduce on a monthly basis as we progress through the year so it’s important you return it as soon as possible.
